The Refind Room specializes in exceptional furniture, original art, lighting, and home décor. Every item we accept is carefully selected to create an inspiring shopping experience and to reflect the quality our customers have come to expect.

We look for pieces with craftsmanship, timeless design, distinctive character, and outstanding condition.

  • Select collections and specialty items

If you're unsure whether your items are a good fit, simply send us photographs. We're happy to review them and offer recommendations.

Items We Typically Do Not Accept

To maintain the quality and consistency of our showroom, we generally do not accept the following:

Furniture

  • Armoires, entertainment centers, and large wall units

  • Large multi-piece office furniture or desk systems

  • MDF or ready-to-assemble furniture

  • Bed frames and mattresses

  • Rugs (with limited exceptions)

Condition

All merchandise must be clean, complete, and ready for immediate sale. We cannot accept items that are:

  • Torn, stained, chipped, scratched, broken, unstable, or missing parts

  • Previously repaired

  • Dirty, dusty, heavily worn, or sun-damaged

  • Lamps that are incomplete, damaged, or not in working order

Other Items

  • Inexpensive mass-produced artwork or wall décor

  • Most china, silverware, and silver-plated serving pieces (some exceptions apply)

  • Items with a resale value below $10

  • Outdated furniture or home décor

Final Acceptance

All merchandise is inspected upon arrival before final acceptance for consignment. We reserve the right to decline any item that does not meet our quality standards or is not the right fit for our showroom.

These guidelines cover most situations, but exceptional pieces occasionally fall outside them. If you're uncertain about an item, we'd be happy to review photographs and discuss the best options for selling your pieces.
